Flutes Across The World, a humanitarian and educational organization based in Ventura County, will be taking over 700 flutes made by American children to the children of Haiti on May 6th for a music mission to that country. Taking the flutes personally and conducting numerous music workshops with the kids in Haiti will be Flutes Across The World founder and director, John Zeretzke. Flutes Across The World links with organizations on the ground to be effective in every country it works in to deliver its message of music and cultural understanding wherever the flutes go.

You may think that the Fall Festival is a carnival or unstructured playtime event in the park. Rather, it’s a unique learning experience consisting of centers and hands-on cooperative encounters designed to let children discover things about the chosen theme. This event is planned and coordinated by parents and teachers as they work together to make the theme come alive for the students.
